Mr. Eric Clark

A native Marylander, Eric attended Baltimore City public schools until the sixth grade. School educators, recognizing his scholastic abilities, identified Eric as one of several students that warranted consideration to attend a local private school. Eric received a full scholarship to attend the Park School of Brooklandville, Maryland. He maintained that scholarship until he graduated. Eric matriculated onto North Carolina State University. While there he participated in a multitude of campus activities ultimately graduating from the university with a double major; receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Operations with a concentration in Production Control and a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. In addition, Eric completed and received his Master’s in Business Administration from Strayer University. For the past 33 years, Eric has worked for the United States Postal Service in various managerial positions. Currently Eric serves as Manager, Safety Research and Development, managing industrial hygiene, ergonomic, engineering, and technical practices targeted at controlling or eliminating hazards and processes that have the potential of causing injury or property damage within the organization. A graduate of the USPS Advanced Leadership Program, Eric is also a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers. Eric, like all of us, has had many influential people come into his life and had many major accomplishments. All were significant and occurred for some reason and sometimes in spite of him. His hopes and dreams has always been to make a difference. So Eric looks for opportunities to give back, whether commitment be time or financial. Eric is an avid reader; a lover of Old School R&B; a wannabe professional Bowler. He is a big fan of his hometown football team, the Baltimore Ravens. A life member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Eric is married, with one daughter, Jordan.
